Preparing for your appointments

If you're new to skin care and professional skin treatments or just in need of a reset, we recommend scheduling a skin consultation. This is where we will discuss your skin and skincare concerns and provide options to address these. We deep dive into your skins history, medical conditions and utilise our Observ 520x advanced skin analysis system that allows us to not only see what's happening on the surface but allows us to look deeper into the skin to better formulate a skin care plan or treatment on the day that is tailored to you.

Skin care ingredients are also advised and recommended as we strongly believe quality ingredients in your daily rituals impact your overall skin health and enhance your clinic results.

In preparation for your treatment targeting lines and wrinkles or volume enhancing treatments

Avoid blood thinning  medications and supplements eg. Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Fish oil (unless medically indicated)

Ensure you arnt pregnant or breastfeeding

No vaccines 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after treatment

No major dental work planned in the next 2 week or has 2 weeks prior

Nil Overseas travel planned for 2 week after treatment

No major surgery within 6 weeks of treatment

A consultation is required prior to determine suitability for treatment. Your practitioner may advise of nutrition or lifestyle factors and plan for health optimisation so you get the most out of your treatments.

Good nutrition supports healthy blood composition, circulation, and the body’s ability to respond to growth factor signaling.

 1-2 weeks prior to treatment:

Key nutritional and lifestyle principles:
• Adequate protein: Provides amino acids for new collagen and tissue regeneration.
• Micronutrients: Vitamins such as vitamin C and D, and minerals like zinc and iron, support immune function and cellular repair pathways.
• Healthy fats: Omega-3 fatty acids (found in fish, seeds, nuts) have anti-inflammatory properties when balanced with overall diet.
• Hydration: Good fluid balance supports blood volume and circulation, which can indirectly influence platelet function and delivery of growth factors.
• Avoid harmful habits: Excessive alcohol, smoking or extreme dieting can impair circulation, inflammation control, and healing response, potentially reducing treatment effectiveness.

24-48 hours prior

Increase hydration, at least 2-3 L on day of treatment

Avoid alcohol, caffeine at least 4 hours prior and refrain from tobacco use

Nil blood thinning medications. *Prior to stopping any prescribed medications speak to your GP.

Ensure you've had a light nourishing meal prior to treatment
